"Oilskins' signature, namesake style that's just as cool now as it was back in 1900. The title NZ stands for New Zealand, where the founders first learned the technique of using paraffin wax to weatherproof their coats. It quickly became a mandatory piece of gear for daily life in the Yarmouth climate and working in the fisheries that sustained the isle. The design hasn't changed much since then, and that's a good thing because they absolutely nailed the details from the jump, like that 'A' shaped body, tremendous corduroy collar, and chunky hardware used throughout. We wanted to highlight the contrast that develops as the waxed cloth wears in, so we went with some of our favorite safety colors for this season's batch."---Ludwin
